The proper meaning of a meme is a piece of information that gets passed from person to person and generation to generation by word of mouth or action.
An example of a meme in a blog context is a question or set of questions that are posted and answered on a blog and then readers are invited to take the questions and answer them on their blog and in turn invite their readers to answer them too thus spreading it throughout the blogging world.
This is one I do (if I remember that it is Thursday!) Booking Through Thursday that asks you questions about what books.
It would be fun to start one here - any ideas for what it could be about?
