Blog or Weblog - an online journal kept for personal or business reasons. It maybe a general diary for the benefit of friends and family or have a theme reflecting a hobby or interest of the author(s). Blogs are usually hosted by a blog service such as Typepad or Blogger (there are many - please recommend yours and tell us why you like it) who add new features as they are developed.
Typical characteristics of a blog are:
It is updated regularly
Latest post is at the top
Posts consist of images and text, also video and audio,
A facility for readers to leave comments
Syndication via RSS feed so others can subscribe to your blog
A sidebar containing links to archives, recent posts, links to related sites, and widgets and anything the author(s) find interesting
