Hi, I am Jacquie - your AdminHi, I'm Jacquie and I am the forum administrator.
I have had a Typepad blog for just about a year now. I am a computer programmer by trade, but even so, I found blogging was a whole new world with it's own buzz words and culture.
My blog is mainly about knitting - my favourite hobby - and other stuff about my family and is mainly for the benefit of our extended family and friends back in the UK and for fellow knitters.
In the course of blogging and participating on message boards I often come across questions about blogging itself rather than the subject matter on the board or blog and the same questions crop up over and over, so I thought what we need is a message board that answers these questions and invites discussion about blogging.
I hope this board will become a focal point for the experienced to come up with new directions for the future of blogging and support beginners getting up and running and that our blogging life will be the richer for being here.

Thanks for the "migration" work.  The forum has been a big help to me, so I'm glad it's found a new home.
