I have copied out a pattern that I would like to add to my blog but I am unsure of would be the best way to do it.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated  TIA

You could use a similar service to the picture services like Photobucket and Flickr but that host other kinds of files.
http://savefile.com/
is one such free file host.
Some blog hosts, like Typepad for instance, allow you to upload other types of file directly but unfortunately Blogger doesn't.
